Netflix finally premieres the documentary series about Georgina Rodríguez, Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend who went from selling Gucci bags to buying them

"Many know my name, few know who I am," says the well-known Georgina Rodríguez, a five-year partner of former Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. To solve this gap in pop knowledge, this Thursday, January 27, the documentary 'I'm Georgina' finally premieres on Netflix, a series with which Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend has stolen part of the prominence from the footballer since the release of the shooting news. For fans of the reality shows of rich and famous Kardashian-style luxury fans, the documentary promises to give a lot of play because it shows the most intimate and unknown side of Georgina Rodríguez, her partner and her entire family. Netflix recently gave us a preview of the six-part series, with a trailer, and it wasn't wasted.

As Georgina Rodríguez herself acknowledges, her life changed five years ago when Cristiano Ronaldo crossed her path. The protagonist of the new Netflix series, currently pregnant with twins, admits to the cameras the difficulties she encountered when arriving in Madrid from Jaca, the place where she was born and raised. On her networks, she shared fragments of the documentary in which she confessed to having lived in a tiny storage room without air conditioning or heating for €300. Now her reality is quite another.

One of the funniest stories that Georgina tells is when Cristiano decided to ask her out for dinner for the first time. The young woman who had dined two hours before, did not think about it for a second and returned to dinner with the one who would become her Prince Charming and the father of her children. This is how the model herself went from selling bags in a Gucci store, to collecting them.

Despite the rain of criticism that Georgina received at the beginning of her relationship with the soccer player, the couple is more than consolidated with the upbringing of a large family that already has four children and which will be joined in April by the twins that Georgina is expecting: A boy and a girl.

Although the true protagonist of the series will at all times be Georgina Rodríguez, the soccer player will make some appearances talking about his relationship with the model and how the love between the two arose, as well as the relationship they have with their children Alana Martina, Cristiano, Eva, Matthew.

Both Netflix and Georgina herself have been in charge of making us wait anxiously and we can finally enjoy the premiere tonight.
