They request five years in prison for a man for sexual abuse of his underage daughter in Palma

The Second Section of the Provincial Court of the Balearic Islands has summoned this Monday a man who will be tried for sexual abuse of his underage daughter in Palma. The Prosecutor's Office asks for him a sentence of five years in prison.

According to the prosecutor in his brief, from an undetermined date between 2015 and 2016 to 2020, the accused man, taking advantage of the coexistence, derived from joint guard and custody with his ex-wife, had been exercising for weeks over his daughter underage bodily touching.

The Prosecutor's Office maintains that the defendant touched the minor's breasts both above and introducing his hand under her underwear, arriving on one occasion, when the minor was taking a shower, to suck one of her breasts, likewise touching the minor's genitals above her clothes, generating fear and emotional affectation in her interactions with the male sex, having been referred for psychotherapeutic treatment.

The prosecutor requests, in addition to the prison sentence, a 500-meter restraining order and a seven-year ban on communication in favor of the victim; as well as forcing the defendant to attend sex education programs. He also requests compensation for his ex-wife, as legal representative of the minor.
