Joanna Cruz, owner of @tucomplementord, says that in her space people can find women's, men's, children's clothing, intimate apparel, home, sportswear, swimsuits, and accessories. “We started as a virtual store, then in a room, then a small store. From there we went on to have two stores, then a larger one and now a store and warehouse”, he explains.

In addition to selling second-hand pieces in detail, Tu Complemento also sells wholesale and distributes bales to other stores. One of its particularities is that they are an exchange business, that is, they receive clothes in good condition from customers for which they offer a credit that can be used to buy in the store.

“As a child, I knew what the flea market was, there I found t-shirts with themes of comics, videogames, movies and rock bands that were not in stores or boutiques in the country at a low price. Buying to give to my friends, I realized that it could be a good business”, says its owner.

In their opinion, the key to their success lies in the fact that they target a specific audience and have a unique price for the merchandise. Add to that the fact that apart from being a virtual store, they also have a physical space where they have everything perfectly organized so that the customer can find what they are looking for and offer advice.
